This design was made for the Japanese furoshiki brand Link. Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese multi-use textile. The design is based on the functional concept of wrapping and folding. At first glance it appears as a bold and abstract pattern but when seen as a whole, it becomes apparent that the stripes depict manipulated and tied fabric.
