Orders & Shipping

Orders and Payment

  • You can securely and easily pay using Paypal or a debit or credit card via Stripe.

  • All orders are processed in GBP. Any orders placed using an account of another currency will be charged at the current exchange rate as converted by your bank, along with your bank’s exchange fees/commissions which are in accordance with the policies outlined by your bank. If you are not sure what you will be charged in your local currency, please contact your bank for more details before ordering.

    Shipping

  • Orders are normally dispatched between 1-3 business days using UK Royal Mail post, First Class tracked service.

  • UK orders are charged at £6 usually delivered within 3 days of shipping. 

  • International orders within Europe are charged at £12 and should take 3-5 days to arrive, but please allow up to 3 weeks for the arrival. 

  • International orders outside Europe are charged at £15 and normally take between 5-7 days, but please allow 3-4 weeks for the arrival.

  • Feel free to get in touch if you would like me to add a special written message to accompany a gift order, or if you request a speedy delivery or a change of address. I am happy to do what I can to help!

    Duties & Taxes

  • Please note that if your order is being shipped outside the UK, it may be subject to duties and import taxes which are the responsibility of the customer to pay. You will be billed directly by the customs office of the destination country. 

  • Because the UK has sadly now left the EU, this now also applies to orders shipping to countries in the European Union.


    Cancellation

  • If you wish to cancel an order, please do so by contacting me immediately at info@lucindanewtondunn.com. If the order has already been dispatched at the time of your cancellation request, I ask that once it has been delivered, please return the goods to me in their original condition, at your own cost using a traceable method at your own discretion. I cannot be responsible for any items sent back to me that does not arrive.

    Returns & exchanges

    I hope you’re happy with your order, however, if there is a problem for any reason, please do get in touch immediately and I’ll do whatever I can to help.

  • If you would like to return or exchange any items, please email me at info@lucindanewtondunn.com within 28 days of receiving your order. Please include the following information:
    – your name and email
    – your order number – you can find this on your order confirmation email
    – the item you would like to return or exchange
    – the reason for return

  • I can only accept return or exchanges on items purchased from this website. If you purchased from one of our stockists please contact them directly.

  • Returned or exchanged items must be unused and in original condition.

  • I can not offer a refund for the original shipping costs.

  • You will have to cover the cost of return shipping unless your item is defective/you have received the wrong product.

  • For exchanges, you will be charged the cost of shipping for the new item.

  • When sending an item back to us, I strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method so you can track the status of your shipment and be sure that the items get returned to us. I cannot accept the cost of any items lost in transit.

  • As most of our products are handmade, they may vary slightly in appearance. This is the nature of handmade products and considered a quality that adds to their character and is not considered a defect.

  • If you notice that your order is damaged upon arrival, please do not accept the package and contact me straight away. Alternatively, please photograph the damaged packaging/item and email me at info@lucindanewtondunn.com, or send it back to us so we can see what went wrong.
